Patrick Meyer

Patrick Meyer graduated from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg and Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea in 2017 with a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering. During his master studies he focused on mechanical engineering and management, and supported the Chair of Information Systems – Innovation & Value Creation as a student assistant in the research field of Industrie 4.0. Prior he graduated from University of Applied Sciences Hof and National University, USA in Industrial Engineering (B.Eng.) with focus on mechanical engineering and information systems as part of a dual-study program in cooperation with KSB AG.

Since October 2017 he is working as a consultant at elaboratum GmbH in Munich and as a research associate / PhD candidate at the Chair of Information Systems – Innovation & Value Creation. His research focuses on the integration of service robots into service systems. Meyer aims to reveal aspects of key stakeholders‘ acceptance and resistance to service robots from a service systems‘ perspective and to develop management solutions for designing service systems including service robots to foster innovation in retail.
